FROM THE FOUNDERS
Hilary's story
I spent months trying to find the right school for our daughter, searching websites, Facebook groups, talking to other parents, and keeping track of everything in a spreadsheet. There was no single place where I could find all the information I needed. Then, when the school we chose fell through, I was right back at that spreadsheet.
That experience is why we decided to build eduScout. We want to make finding the right school simpler for other families, so parents don't have to spend months piecing it all together the way I did.

We have plenty of ideas. Things like which schools have open seats, how long a waitlist actually is, and when applications close. So much of that information isn't easy to find in one place, and sometimes the people who know it best are the parents who just went through it. That's part of what we're thinking about for eduScout: a place where that knowledge can move both ways.

Why you can trust eduScout
Schools cannot pay to be listed or ranked higher. Not for placement, not for a better score, not for anything. We make our money from parents — that's the whole design, and we're writing it into how the company is governed.
Help us build the Notes
If you know a school, add a Note to its page. You can be a current parent, former parent, former student, employee, or simply someone with firsthand experience. Tell people the stuff you wish someone had told you — what surprised you, what families should know before a tour, what you loved, what you'd ask about.
Your Note is posted without your name. Other users can see what you wrote and when it was submitted, but not who wrote it. Your name never appears on a Note, and our moderators review it without seeing who wrote it. We review Notes before they're published.
