Note rules

While we’re small, every parent note is read before it’s published. As volume grows we’ll use automated tools, with a person reviewing anything they flag. Honest positive and negative experiences are both welcome, and a note will not be rejected simply because it is critical of a school.

A note may not be published if it contains profanity, discriminatory or hateful language, threats, harassment, personally identifying or private information, spam, or inappropriate content, or if it does not relate to the writer’s genuine experience with the school. If we can’t publish a note, we won’t edit your words ourselves. You’ll see why on that school’s note page, and you’re welcome to change it and send it again.

Our moderation process is intended to keep eduScout useful, respectful, and safe for families while preserving honest parent feedback.
